A key process to package goods is the closure procedure. It ensures the good protection against the environment and vice versa. Ultrasonic sealing presents the advantage of converting locally ultrasound into heat, which is optimal for temperature sensitive goods. The disadvantages remain, however, the equipment cost, the noise generation, and the process sensitivity to materials. It is necessary to develop a sealing process to decrease the acquisition cost of the sealing equipment and cover a wide range of polymer films. This paper focuses on a new sealing method based on high-intensity focused ultrasound. The principles and characteristics of this process are discussed and underpinned with experimental results. Both the acoustic and thermal effects of the sealing process are summarized. A study of the process parameter impact on the seam strength in static and dynamic operating is proposed. Low-density polyethylene films with a carrier layer of bi-oriented polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are used. A first test bench generates point-shaped seam. The heat generation is recorded with an infrared thermography system. A second test bench, a horizontal form fill and seal machine, produces longitudinal seams. The seam quality is controlled by tensile test and tightness test. A quick heating of the polymer films is found. Point seams and longitudinal seams are successfully generated. The seams behave similarly to the ones generated with ultrasonic sealing process. However, the sealing velocity is limited to 3 m/min. This research characterised properties and stability of starch-based peelable coating film layers via mould dipping. Different ratios between rice starch (RS) and hydroxypropyl cassava starch (HS) containing agar blends were characterised for fluid rheology and properties of solid films. Layer-by-layer mould dipping in starch blend suspensions produced peelable shells. Rheology indicated that formability of thin-film layer on solid surface subsequently affected integrity of the shells. HS highly adsorbed water which plasticised matrices giving lower relaxation temperature (~10 °C) than RS and caused shrivelling and non-stable shell structures. RS increased crystallinity and non-homogeneity of films and reduced network flexibility and light transmission. IR spectra indicated modified hydrophobicity and hydrogen bonding of starch blends which governed water and oxygen permeability. Higher RS ratios significantly increased crystallinity which affected physical, mechanical and barrier properties during storage for three months. 目的 通过对广泛使用的PBAT–PLA生物降解膜袋在受控需氧堆肥条件下的降解机制研究,为生物降解塑料的大规模推广提供重要理论基础。方法 根据GB/T 19277.1—2011,在(58±2)℃需氧条件下,对PBAT–PLA膜袋进行为期160 d的生物降解测试(即工业堆肥),并以常见的可降解材料微晶纤维素作为参比样品。对降解前后的材料进行红外、扫描电镜、能谱分析,并结合其所在堆肥样本的脂肪酶活性,从多角度探寻降解机制。结果 PBAT–PLA膜袋与微晶纤维素所在的堆肥脂肪酶活性都达到空白堆肥的3倍以上。红外显示由微晶纤维素水分子吸附、糖环打开、基团氧化形成的吸收峰加强,PBAT–PLA膜袋中的酯键峰明显减弱;扫描电镜发现降解的PBAT–PLA膜袋表面覆盖了微生物膜;能谱分析发现,碳元素大幅减少,氧元素增加。结论 微生物在PBAT–PLA膜袋表面生长形成生物膜,分泌大量脂肪酶,水解PBAT–PLA的酯键,使聚合物降解为不同链长的中间体或小分子,同时伴随着氧化,随后被作为碳源,在相关微生物体内被代谢利用,形成最终产物。 相似文献

Plasticized polysaccharide coatings on polypropylene (PP) film were prepared to evaluate the optical and tensile properties of the resulting coated films, as affected by biopolymer and plasticizer types, in order to develop a novel film structure of biopolymer coatings on common plastics intended for food packaging applications. Composite structures of PP film coated with several kinds of polysaccharides (MC, HPMC, chitosan, κ ‐carrageenan, dextrin) and plasticizers (PG, glycerol, PEG, sucrose, sorbitol) were obtained through a simple casting method. High glossy surfaces were observed on the coated films with chitosan and κ ‐carrageenan, with the sucrose‐plasticized chitosan coating giving the highest gloss of 142.7 GU. Biopolymers, but no plasticizers, exerted noticeable influence on the colour of the coated films. Chitosan‐ and κ ‐carrageenan‐coated PP films also showed greater transparency, tensile strength and elongation than the other coated films. Nisin‐incorporated κ ‐carrageenan coatings on PP film exhibited significant bacterial growth inhibition against Lactobacillus plantarum . The results suggest that coatings based on chitosan and κ ‐carrageenan with proper plasticizers possess excellent visual and mechanical characteristics and have great potential for acting efficiently as antimicrobial agent carriers in active packaging systems. 对天津港南疆 1#靠船墩改建吹泥围埝工程的施工方案及可行性展开了深入的探讨 ,进行了一系列室内常规试验、编织袋填充模拟试验、离心机模型试验 ,对施工过程中编织袋的形状和可能受到的最大应力进行了分析验算。研究结果表明 ,只有塑性指数小于 10的粉土才适用于吹泥围埝的施工方案 ,土工编织袋受到的最大拉应力小于其抗拉强度 ,建成围埝的整体稳定性满足要求 ,表明这一施工方案合理可行 相似文献
